2017 - What's in the pipeline?

2017 promises to be a busy year. Preparations are already underway to bring a unique cultural experience to the Atlanta audience. Usha Ganguly, who has blazed a trail in Calcutta and all over India with her thought provoking visual and oral communications, is coming to Atlanta. In association with Deeksha School of Performing Arts, Abhinayam will present Usha Ganguly's signature and singular interpretation of Tagore's Chandalika. If ever the underlying themes in Chandalika - of disenfranchisement, of inequity, of oppression, of hope, of salvation needed a contemporary interpretation - Usha Ganguly's Chandalika brings it all together.
